Leading the Way Pet Care Chorley Andy and Michelle Corrigan are loving and responsible pet care professionals who are delighted to support pet owners by providing quality time and expert care for pets.

Michelle

After studying for a degree in Zoology, Michelle enjoyed a successful career teaching biology at both secondary school and A level. Her experience of working full time in a demanding job whilst juggling a busy family life highlighted the difficulty of finding safe and reliable pet care. Faced with a pet industry bursting with unregulated options, Michelle set about solving the problem herself. A chance meeting with OSCAR Pet Foods' behaviourist, Shelley Audis-Riddell, BSc (Hons) MSc, created the opportunity for her to combine her lifelong love of animals with her skills in education and she piloted the only pet care business with CERTA accreditation - a first for the pet care industry.

Andy

Before joining Michelle at Leading the Way, Andy spent five years working part time as a dog groomer. (After a disappointing experience with the family Cavichon, Bella, he was convinced he could do a better job - he was right!) His training and experience gave him skills to handle dogs both safely and gently with an added ability to calm and control nervous behaviour. His naturally high standards and patient manner are perfect for managing every pet temperament and he finds the attention to detail and the focus on their well-being truly rewarding.

Leading the Way is all about excellence. A strong focus on the social, emotional and physical wellbeing of pets underpins everything we do. Inspired by the beauty of Lancashire's glorious countryside we relish being at one with nature (whatever the weather!) whilst delivering high-quality care. We provide energetic and stimulating walks, safe and secure transport and luxurious attention at home - all wrapped up with plenty of companionship and fun along the way.
We're happiest when we brighten up your pet's day and combined with specialist pet first aid training means you are free to meet your commitments with complete peace of mind.
